Tasos Greek Taverna has been a Delray Beach Greek restaurant for years. Years ago their food was good, however in recent years, food quality and presentation has been declining. A replica of the Delray establishment is now in Boca. Same menu. We had mixed green salad with grilled lamb. Very small in size. At a cost of $11.50, you get a dinner salad with 5 small pieces of lamb. Greek salad dressing is watered down and virtually tasteless. Also had their Avgolemono Greek lemon chicken soup … no chicken, lots of rice. For about $15, I left hungry! When I mentioned a need for portion control to the waitress, she basically agreed. This location is relatively new, so it may change with time, or close. No comparison to Taverna Kyma. For a few dollars more, Taverna Kyma provides healthy portions and superior quality.
