East Boca Raton, Cinemark Palace restaurant.
With our rapidly declining economy, Bogart’s, located on the second floor of Cinemark movie theatre, decided to increase its prices. Restaurant has gone from gourmet great food to a real expensive pseudo fast food restaurant. It is the only informal place I know of where you can buy a burger for $15, and a salad with a small piece of salmon on it for $25. Prices on all items increased approximately 25%. Manager claims the reason is increased cost of gasoline. Only positive note is that there’s no wait … restaurant is 75% empty … seems that the increases have chased away the customers. So, let’s wait, in a few months time, I’m sure there’ll be a new restaurant opening at Muvico. Until then we just need to be satisfied with popcorn only. Incidentally, Muvico, now known as Cinemark Palace 20 movie ticket prices have remained the same.
