Restaurant was ice cold inside … my dining companion needed a blanket. Restaurant temperature may have been a good indicator. No atmosphere. I think management wanted to make the place look like a sports bar, but the TVs are too small and there is only 4 of them. Bathroom was filthy, paper on the floor, and toilets didn’t look like they’ve been cleaned in weeks. Believe it or not, the food wasn’t bad. The chef is probably the only good thing about this place. For example, we had their seafood kabob … you get nicely prepared shrimp with small pieces of mahi with steamed veggies, served with onion soup (not the kind with melted cheese), cold dinner rolls, coffee and bread pudding for $26 per person. Too costly for this kind of place. Manager/Owner Michael doesn’t seem to have any experience running a restaurant … had nearly 15 wait staff for 6 tables, and the average age for a waiter is about 19, and seems to have worked for about 2 weeks. The waiters seem to care, but management doesn’t, especially when you get the bill and everything costs more than the menu price. Owner Michael will argue with you. And, by the way, expect an argument if you present a South Florida Dines certificate. Turn it back in … not worth the owner’s confrontational attitude. With lots of other diner choices in town, go somewhere else.
