Delray Beach, Italian.
Excellent food, great value with an old Italian feel and atmosphere. For dinner, Fratelli’s has two menus. One if you pay by credit card, and the other if you pay with cash. Of course the cash is a better deal. Continues to amaze me how so many restaurants in Delray Beach are able to get away with this dual payment system. On the plus side, everything this restaurant serves is good. Dinner specialties include veal cutlet parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, pizzas, lasagna, steak pizzaiola. Dinners are served with your choice of soup or salad, and all dinners also come with choice of several nice desserts along with coffee. A delightful restaurant. Especially when owners Suzanne and Salvatore Nurrito are managing the place. In October, the owners are gone for a month long vacation, and the restaurant is temporarily managed by a couple of their relatives. Unfortunately, these younger managers can be quite argumentative, boisterous and loud. So, if you choose Fratelli’s for lunch or dinner, just make sure you avoid October, unless you don’t mind the bullies. Management issues aside, the food is great!
